Beer & Homebrewing
Do You Need a Beer Writer?
I'd love to be your beer writer! Below are some of the things I've done in the beer and homebrewing space and I'm excited to take on more projects. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I was honored to be the only woman to win a gold medal at the 2016 National Homebrewer's Competition (NHC). I've also placed in several local and regional competitions and am looking forward to the next NHC. Let me know if you'll be there!
I am a Certified Cicerone®. Many compare the title to being a "Sommelier of beer." I’m sitting for the Advanced Cicerone Exam in 2019 in Chicago, wish me luck! Are you studying for the test? I'm happy to help if I can!
Guest Beer Expert On POdcasts
Talking about beer is one of my favorite pastimes so it's no surprise that I've taken the conversation to a few podcasts. I was a guest on "The Sporkful" (The #1 iTunes food podcast) talking about my NHC win. I was recently featured on The New York Times podcast, "Tell Me Something I Don't Know," explaining how monks lived off of the very Dopplebocks they brewed. Listen up!
BEER (and Food!) Photography
I've taken a few food photography courses and I tend to use what I've learned on beer. I promise not to become one of those insufferable Instagram accounts though. If you would like to work with me, drop me a line!
I tweet often - mostly about beer and food - and I'm always looking for more beer lovers to follow and discuss the intricacies of dry hopping, the rewards of beer travel, the complications of brewing in a tiny apartment, and more.
